Conquer Castlewood Team Adventure RaceBallwin Parks and Recreation in cooperation with Castlewood State Park presents the annual Conquer Castlewood Adventure Race. Teams consist of 2 participants in three categories (male, female, and coed). Both team members complete the three phases and times are totaled for a team time. The race consists of a 1-2 mile team canoe, 4-5 mile trail bike, and then a 3-4 mile trail run. The event is limited to 80 teams. Get your team together, and Conquer Castlewood! The race starts with a short team sprint to the canoe; please wear appropriate shoes. Helmets must be worn on the bike route and life jackets must be worn in the canoe. When: Sunday, August 12, 2018 (First heat 8:00 a.m. Second heat approximately 8:30 a.m.) Where: Castlewood State Park Fee: $80 per team ($100 after July 22) We provide the canoe and lifejackets Ages: 14+ Registration*: Each person needs to register separately either in person at The Pointe at Ballwin Commons OR Register Online*Pre-registration required. No race day registration or stand-by. A confirmation e-mail will be sent about a week before the race with event details and heat assignments.
