Challenge yourself and your friends to finish high in the Ballwin Race Series standings.  The series offers a variety of races to challenge your all around abilities.  All race series points will be posted on the City of Ballwin’s website.  All race participants will receive participation points regardless of their placement.

8th Annual Upside Down Indoor Triathlon

Saturday, January 21 or Sunday, January 22, 2017
Ballwin’s Indoor Triathlon puts a unique spin on the triathlon format. All participants run 15 minutes, bike 15 minutes, and swim 10 minutes…..in that order. Total distance is calculated for a final score.

7th Annual Dirty Spokes Mountain Bike Race

Sunday, April 9, 2017
The Dirty Spokes Mountain Bike race is again being held on the trails of Castlewood State Park.  This race is open to all abilities.

17th Annual Conquer Castlewood Team Adventure Race

Sunday, May 21, 2017
Teams of two canoe the Meramec and bike and run the trails of Castlewood State Park.  Each individual time is calculated and the team’s time is the total of the two times.

36th Ballwin Days 5k and 1 Mile Run

Sunday, June 11, 2017
This annual race is part of the Ballwin Days celebration. Each year this race draws over 300 participants and is coordinated with a youth 1 mile fun run and adult 1 mile course.

19th Annual Ballwin Triathlon

Sunday, July 16, 2017
The Ballwin Triathlon is a 300 yd swim, 9 mile bike, and 3.4 mile run.  This race is very popular and fills up to capacity of 300 participants every year.

10th Annual Kids’ Triathlon

Sunday, September 17, 2017
Kids get the opportunity to experience a triathlon in this scaled down race.  Kids ages  5-8 complete a 25yd swim, 1mile bike, and 1/2 mile run.  Kids ages 9-12 complete a 75 yd swim, 2 mile bike, and 1mile run.

9th Annual Moonlight Howl 5K Run/Walk

November 3, 2017
Come howl at the moon at The Howl 5K.  The Howl 5K run/walk is encouraged to all ages and fitness levels.

Platinum: $1000
This level includes the following:

  • Logo on all promotional materials
  • Business listed on the City of Ballwin's website
  • Verbal recognition at the event
  • On-site exhibit at the event
  • Banner or sign placement at the event
  • Social Media and email announcements where applicable
  • Ability to hand out coupons or flyers
  • Logo on back of all race series shirts

Gold:  $500
Organization may choose three races to attend and distribute information. 
Logo will be included on those specific race flyers. (This level does not include logo on race shirts)

Ballwin Race Series Refund/Transfer Policy

Refund and transfer requests will be considered only if submitted 14 or more days prior to the event.
1.A full refund will be issued due to injury upon registrant providing a physician release.
2.All other refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee.
3.Registrants may request a transfer to another Ballwin Race Series event in the same calendar year.  Transfer fee is $5.  Registrants may not transfer to the same event the following year.  If transferring to a race with a higher registration fee, registrant will pay the difference and $5 transfer fee.  No credit will be given if transferring to a race with a lesser registration fee and the $5 transfer fee will be assessed.
4.Bib numbers may be transferred to a different person under the following conditions:
a) Fourteen or more days prior to event notice.
b) A $5 processing fee will be assessed.
5.Full refunds will be issued if a Ballwin Race Series event is cancelled by The City of Ballwin.  This excludes cancellation due to inclement weather.
