Pointe Patron Tests Positive for COVID-19

Pointe Members,

We have been notified that a member at our facility (The Pointe at Ballwin Commons) has tested positive for COVID-19. The patron attended group fitness classes at our facility on Tuesday, September 22, Thursday, September 24, and Saturday, September 26. This member is asymptomatic and is continuing to exhibit no symptoms. Our staff is working on contacting the individuals and instructors who might have been in direct contact with the member during these fitness classes.

The classes were:

  • Tuesday - Body Sculpt at 9:15 a.m.
  • Thursday - Functional 45 at 8 a.m.
  • Saturday - Body Sculpt at 8 a.m.
  • Saturday - Step Cardio at 8 a.m.

Our current operations call for our fitness classrooms to be disinfected daily. The health and safety of our employees and guests remain our top concern. We continue to implement social distancing, increased cleaning and disinfecting, class size and facility limitations, and other measures aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19.

We ask everyone to continue self monitoring and to stay home if you, or someone in your household, is exhibiting symptoms. As advised by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), all persons who experience symptoms of COVID-19 should contact their health care providers. You may also reach out to the St. Louis County Department of Public Health (314-615-0600, after hours) or the Missouri DHSS (877-435-8411, open 24 hours).
