Public Libraries:

Two of St. Louis Counties branch libraries are located conveniently to Ballwin. The Daniel Boone Branch is located at 300 Clarkson Road, 227-9630, and the Grand Glaize Branch is at 1010 Meramec Station Road, 636 225-6454.

Print Media:

News and information about Ballwin and the surrounding area can be obtained from several sources. The City of Ballwin mails the Ballwin Newsletter to all residents quarterly. The "Ballwin Newsletter" is available on-line. The "Press Journal" publishes twice a week on Wednesday and Sunday and is delivered to your lawn. The "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" publishes a West Section every Monday in the papers distributed to our area.

Trash Removal:

Ballwin has arranged a contractual agreement with Allied Waste for the provision of trash removal services to residents within the City. New residents should call Allied Waste at 636 947-5959 to arrange for pickup and billing. Yard waste, and bulky pickup are included in the price. City ordinance prohibits placing trash cans, bags of trash, or bundles of yard waste at the curb at any time other than on the day of pickup. Trash cans should always have lids in place to keep trash in can.
