A public hearing is scheduled before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Ballwin on July 2, 2018 at the Donald “Red” Loehr Police and Court Center, 300 Park Dr. Ballwin, MO 63011, at 7:00 P.M.
A petition from ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac requesting to expand the dealership requiring an
amendment to SUE 17-03 for the property located at 112 Old Ballwin Rd.

To further its commitment to fair and equitable treatment of all citizens, the City of Ballwin has enacted and enforces the following:

  • Fair Housing Ordinance prohibiting unlawful discrimination against any person because of race, sex, color, religion, disability, familial status or national origin;
  • Policy of Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability in the admission or access to, or employment in, it's federally assisted programs or activities;
  • Policy of Equal Opportunity to Participate in Municipal Programs and Services regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, familial status, national origin or political affiliation;
  • A requirement for bidding on CDBG activities is that they must promote employment opportunities created by HUD funding and that these opportunities be afforded low-income community residents and businesses.

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac Inc, 112 Old Ballwin Rd
Petitioner: Mr. Mark Hadfield, ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac Inc, 15110 Manchester Rd, Ballwin MO 63011
ELCO Cadillac has bought the parcel of land at 112 Old Ballwin Road (formerly Ballwin Nursery), with the intent
of demolishing the nursery. The original proposal was to build a 20,800 sq ft service and repair facility. Since
the original SUE was granted in 2017, no action has been taken in over a year, no request for an extension of
time has been submitted, and the SUE has expired. ELCO is now requesting approval for a new SUE for
“facilities for the indoor servicing of vehicles, including a body and paint shop and outdoor storage of vehicles.”
