The Ballwin Police Department will be hosting a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) event on May 11, 2019 from 9 am to 11 am for high school girls and from 1 pm to 3 pm for middle school girls. This hands-on event is geared towards giving girls the opportunity to work with Ballwin’s female police officers and detectives in order to learn about how they use STEM in their careers. Participants will participate in hands on learning about crime scene processing and science based investigative practices. A classroom portion will teach girls about the science and technology used by the Ballwin Police Department.

This event will take place at the Ballwin Police Department, 300 Park Drive. This will be a hands-on event with crime scene processing materials such as fingerprint powder. Please dress comfortably in clothes that are okay to get dirty. There is no cost to attend this event.
