The City of Ballwin is taking steps to adopt new Building, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical & Technical Codes, rules that govern building safety and construction. This is an update from the 2015 standards the City currently uses, covering everything from new home construction and fire safety to energy efficiency and plumbing.

Updating the City's Building Codes ensures that properties meet newer, safer standards that are up to date as technology advances.

As part of this effort, the City is actively collecting public feedback on the proposed changes before they are voted on in September. Comments can be left using the Google form link here.
