What Is Your Vision?

Jan 1, 2026 | The Pointe

Vision can be literal as in being able to see. It can be creative as in having the ability to plan with imagination. It can also be supernatural as in experiencing an apparition or seeing something in a dream. Inspiration to improve your health might come in one or all of these ways. Regardless of whether or not you are able to portray your vision if asked to explain it, the important part of your vision is to act on it.

Having a literal vision is tangible. Examples would be seeing a commercial or a person that inspires you to do better or try something new. There are plenty of ads that attempt to do that, along with selling a product of course. Talking with others that have been through the process of making changes for better health is an even better, literal vision. You can see and hear from those who have done it. There are many paths to better health. Seeking out these interactions is beneficial to all. Even the most experienced exerciser or most practiced in nutrition benefit from doing this. If you’ve witnessed a friend or co-worker’s physical transition, ask them to share their experience. You might learn something you can add to your routine or it can inspire you to get started.

A creative vision is very beneficial. Once you’ve decided to make a change or add something, having the ability to plan and set goals will help you get where you want to be. This sounds great, but some of us are better than others when it comes to explaining their visions. You may know what you want and the steps you plan to take but find it difficult to make that vision clear to others in a literal setting. Even if you are unable to discuss with others as suggested above, stay true to your plan and make your vision reality. When it comes to your health, your creativity and ability to stick to a plan is more important than explaining the plan.

A supernatural vision to better health isn’t being able to use magic to improve. It is an inspirational experience. Yours truly is not qualified to speak to all the different supernatural experiences that people have (or claim to have). However, the end game with any type of vision is how you use it. For example, if you dream about becoming a world class athlete, that could be you telling yourself to start working out. Again, the vision is less important than how you use it.

Having a literal, creative, or even supernatural vision is powerful to put your mind to work for you. Physically, better health can be challenging. The bigger challenge is mental. Everything starts there when making healthy decisions. Be aware of inspirational visions and if you are already working on a plan toward better health, stick to your vision of a healthier you.
