Fitness Center

The Pointe is home to a state-of-the-art fitness center including a full service cardio section, Cybex weight training section, and free weight area. Whether your goal is to find a gym to help you build strength, lose weight, or just have a safe place to walk or run on an indoor track near your home, you need to get to The Pointe. Fitness Classes

Our fitness center offers a number of different classes available to both patrons and guests. Group Fitness classes are included with any membership. They are provided on a first come, first served basis and do not require registration.

Group Fitness Class Schedule

Our Specialized Fitness classes cost extra (unless you've purchased a Platinum membership in which case they are unlimited). These classes are also offered on a first come, first served basis, and they do require you to check in at the front desk no more than one half hour before the class begins.

Specialized Fitness Class Schedule

Specialized classes which include Yoga, TRX, Spinning, Silver Sneakers, Step Cardio, Spinning, Intervals, Zumba, Chair Yoga, and many more. Please note all schedules are subject to change, but you can stay on top of changes by signing up to receive text or email alerts when a class is canceled or postponed.

20 Visit Swipe Cards

A 20-visit swipe card can be purchased at The Pointe’s Welcome Desk. It works exactly as it sounds: it gives you 20 visits to The Pointe. You can use it to attend any of the weekly Specialized Fitness Classes such as Yoga, Pilates, Spinning® and TRX, or you can use it for regular daily admission if you're not a member. If you plan to attend multiple Specialized Classes, and swipe cards are getting expensive, consider our Platinum Membership option which gives you unlimited admission, classes, water aerobics, babysitting, North Pointe Aquatic Center, and resident rates at the Ballwin Golf Course for our non-resident members.

Personal Training

The Pointe has four trainers on staff to help you reach your fitness goals. If you want personalized, one-on-one attention to keep you safe and accelerate your fitness progress consider working with one of our certified trainers. Read the descriptions of each trainer and purchase sessions at The Pointe's front desk.

The Pointe Fitness Center Equipment

Take a virtual tour of our fitness center or stop by anytime for a tour. The Fitness Center at The Pointe features over 30 pieces of cardiovascular equipment, strength machines featuring 22 pieces of Cybex equipment, free weights, an indoor 1/8 mile walking track, and an aerobics studio. The free weight equipment includes: 
  • Plate Loaded Leg Press
  • Bench Press Station
  • Incline Bench Station
  • Preacher Curl Station
  • Squat Rack
  • Smith Machine
  • Dumbbells 5 - 100 lbs.

Important Fitness Center Policies 

  • 0-11 year olds: May use the walking track if accompanied by an adult, but are not allowed in the equipment area at any time.
  • 11-13 year olds: May use the fitness center with an adult present after an orientation class is completed and a parent's permission slip is on file. 
  • 14-17 year olds: May use the fitness center after an orientation class is completed and a parent’s permission slip is on file.
  • Guests must wear close-toed, rubber soled shoes at all times.

Track Policy

  • Between the hours of 8:00-3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, strollers are allowed on the track. However, strollers/baby carriers are NOT allowed in the fitness equipment area.

Equipment Policy

  • Please be courteous to other guests and allow them to “work-in” at each station. There shall be a 20 minute time limit on each cardio piece if others are waiting.
  • Return all dumbbells and weight plates to racks when finished. Use spring collars and a spotter when using free weights.

Please notify management of any guests violating these rules.
