This Month's Message from the Mayor
Dear Friends,
It's August already and the summer is winding down. In a couple of weeks or so, the school buses will be back on the roads as another school year begins. But, before we close out summer in Ballwin, there are several things happening in our community this month! I hope to see many of you at the Annual National Night Out on Tuesday August 4th! Come by either North Pointe or Woerther Elementary School from 5-7 p.m. to meet our first responders from the Ballwin Police Department and Metro West Fire Protection District. Pick up some valuable tips about keeping your home and family safe. Plus, there will be prizes and giveaways courtesy of our awesome sponsors. The highlight of summertime in Ballwin starts on August 13th! The awesome Ballwin Days starts on Thursday August 13th and runs through Sunday, August 16th! There will be music, rides and food everyday and a great Fireworks Display on Saturday night! At Friday night’s opening ceremonies, it will be my pleasure to announce the 2026 Ballwin Resident of the Year! Check out this link for the full schedule. I hope my family and I see you there! Ballwin is investing record amounts in our street, sidewalks and recreation facilities. The work at The Pointe has been going on all year, and this past week the massive renovations of the indoor pool began. The work includes a new children’s play structure and a refurbished slide. Unfortunately, the pool must be closed while the work goes on. It will, probably take 4-6 weeks to complete the project. Looking forward to seeing the improvements! The good news is that you can still enjoy the rest of the summer floating down the Lazy River and enjoying everything that North Pointe has to offer! North Pointe will be open everyday till August 23rd and then on the weekends through Labor Day! There is a good chance you will see my son and I floating down the Lazy River on Sunday afternoons! If you see us, be sure to say hello! Finally, we want to hear from you! What are we doing well? What could we do better? We want your input on how we allocate your tax dollars!
