Ballwin Race Series

Challenge yourself and your friends to finish high in the Ballwin Race Series standings.  The series of seven different races offers a variety of events to challenge your all-around abilities.  All race participants will receive points regardless of their placement. At the end of the year the participant with the most points earned over the seven races will be declared the overall Ballwin Race Series winner.

10th Annual Upside Down Indoor Triathlon

Saturday, January 19 or Sunday, January 20, 2019
Ballwin’s Indoor Triathlon puts a unique spin on the triathlon format. All participants run 15 minutes, bike 15 minutes, and swim 10 minutes… that order. Total distance is calculated for a final score.

9th Annual Dirty Spokes Mountain Bike Race

Sunday, April 14, 2019
The Dirty Spokes Mountain Bike race is again being held on the trails of Castlewood State Park.  This race is open to all abilities.

38th Ballwin Days 5k and 1 Mile Run

This annual race is part of the Ballwin Days celebration. This race is coordinated with a youth/adult fun run 1 mile course.

21st Annual Ballwin Triathlon

Sunday, July 21, 2019
The Ballwin Triathlon is a 300 yd swim, 9 mile bike, and 3.4 mile run.  This race is very popular and fills up to capacity of 300 participants almost every year. Be sure to secure your spot early.

19th Annual Conquer Castlewood Team Adventure Race

Teams of two will canoe the Meramec and bike and run the trails of Castlewood State Park.  Each individual time is calculated and the team’s time is the total of the two times.

12th Annual Kids’ Triathlon

Sunday, September 15, 2019
Kids get the opportunity to experience a triathlon in this scaled down race.  Kids ages  5-8 complete a 25 yd swim, 1 mile bike, and 1/2 mile run.  Kids ages 9-12 complete a 75 yd swim, 2 mile bike, and 1 mile run.

10th Annual Moonlight Howl 5K Run/Walk

Friday, October 25, 2019
Come howl at the moon at The Howl 5K.  The Howl 5K run/walk is encouraged to all ages and fitness levels.

Ballwin Race Series Refund/Transfer Policy

Refund and transfer requests will be considered only if submitted 14 or more days prior to the event.
1.A full refund will be issued due to injury upon registrant providing a physician release.
2.All other refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee.
3.Registrants may request a transfer to another Ballwin Race Series event in the same calendar year.  Transfer fee is $5.  Registrants may not transfer to the same event the following year.  If transferring to a race with a higher registration fee, registrant will pay the difference and $5 transfer fee.  No credit will be given if transferring to a race with a lesser registration fee and the $5 transfer fee will be assessed.
4.Bib numbers may be transferred to a different person under the following conditions:
a) Fourteen or more days prior to event notice.
b) A $5 processing fee will be assessed.
5.Full refunds will be issued if a Ballwin Race Series event is canceled by The City of Ballwin.  This excludes cancellation due to inclement weather.
