North Pointe Special Events

World's Largest Swim Lesson

Join us for the World's Largest Swim Lesson! Help us beat the world record and promote water safety. Ages 6 months - 15 years! Groups will be divided based on age. 6 months-2 years will require a parent to be in the water during the lesson. Ages 3-6 and 7-15 will be divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced groups. Free for all participants, however, pre-registration is encouraged and appreciated. Registration opens May 1st.
 
Date: Thursday June 25th, 2026
Time: 9 - 9:45 a.m.

Ages: under 3, 3-5 years and 6 - 15 years

Little Splashers

In this special swim time, kids up to five years old and their guardians have exclusive use of the kids play structure. Cost is per child, adults are free. If you'd like to stay for open swim, you will need to exit the facility and re-enter. Parents must be in swim attire!
Dates: Tuesday & Thursdays (June 2 - August 20, 2026)
Time: 10 - 11 a.m.
Fees: VIP $5, Reg $6, Pool pass holders are FREE
Ages: 0.5 - 5 
 

Whale Tales

Looking for an activity for your little swimmer? Come join us for a fun filled morning of water safety, crafts, and a snack! Whale Tales will meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of June and July at North Pointe. From 9 - 10 a.m. we will review a water safety lesson, create a craft, and enjoy a snack. All lessons are part of the American Red Cross water safety curriculum. Pre-registration encouraged. Your little fish won’t want to miss this fun, so reserve your spot today! Sign Up Here.

Family Float Fridays

Fridays, beginning at 4 p.m., members and guests may bring their floating chairs and rafts to take a break in the amazing 1000 ft. Lazy River! Make a stop at the Lazy River Cafe for a snack or ice cream float. Flotation devices are subject to approval by Management. City of Ballwin is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Twilight Swims

Enjoy an evening of swimming under the stars at North Pointe Aquatic Center. Special events will be held at each Twilight Swim!

Cardboard Regatta

Ahoy Mates!  Will you sink or float? Grab a partner and build a boat out of only cardboard and duct tape to see if you are worthy! We will name our first, second and third place Captains in a single elimination style tournament. All Captains are only guaranteed 1 race. Decorate your boat to a theme and see if you win our People's choice award. We will vote on People's Choice Award at the event. Two Captains per boat are required.  Lifejackets are required and will be provided. We will also provide the paddles for your boats. Spectators are FREE! Pre-registration required.

North Pointe Dog Swim

Calling all K-9s! North Pointe Aquatic Center's Annual Dog Swim. This is a great opportunity to bring your pooch to the pool. Big, small, short, or tall, all are welcome with current vaccinations. Owners are responsible for the clean-up of all pet deposits. No aggressive dogs, please! Only two humans (maximum) allowed per dog. There will be no preregistration, pay at the entrance of the event.
